Xentrix Studios


Xentrix was founded in Bangalore in June 2010 when, by a happy coincidence, old friends and competitors Viren Patil and Jai Natarajan found themselves simultaneously free of previous work commitments. They have finally realized a long-standing ambition of working together, and have since been joined by several other good friends from the industry.
The founding team at Xentrix consists of this close-knit group of executives, and senior staff in Bangalore and Los Angeles.
The goal at Xentrix is to leverage our collective past work experience. We have successfully delivered hundreds of hours of TV, DVD and game graphics. Our key members have decade-long track records of delivery for marquee international clients on globally recognized brands. We have built, managed and mentored studios with several hundred artists and have managed over $50+ MM of global service projects. The majority of key personnel have hands-on experience in the CG pipeline and in production management.

Our range of services includes:
CGI Animation – including asset creation (modeling and surfacing), rigging, animation, lighting, FX, compositing
Gaming Services – including asset creation, normal mapping, animation, pre-rendered and in-game cinematics
Visual Effects – including tracking, rotoscopy, compositing, creatures, set extensions, and stereoscopic conversion

Our Studio

We are currently located in a 12,000 sq ft fully-equipped incubation centre inside a gated technology park
- By the fall of 2011, we will move to a 25,000 sq ft office in the same technology park (under construction)

Work:
The members of the Xentrix team are obsessed with doing a great job for our clients. That’s why we have been successful, in our long careers, in contributing to marquee TV, film, DVD and gaming projects over the years. We’ve helped our clients create several #1 rated TV shows in the US and UK, top stereoscopic ride films, BAFTA, Pulcinella, Hugo and Emmy nominees or winners, and AAA game franchises.
We’ve hit the ground running in our first year of operations. Some of the projects already shipping from our studio are:
  • “Everything’s Rosie” – the hit series on CBeebies – Season 2 (26×11) for VNS Entertainment, UK
  • “The Tuneables”, a DVD series based on dance and music
  • A 5D stereoscopic interactive ride film for a Europe-based client
  • A 4D stereoscopic interactive dark ride for a US-based client
  • Ongoing PSN game work for a US-based client
  • Facial animation for an AAA game publisher
